Originally by: Zrakor Probably any dungeon/complex room that has multiple 'groups' will have this 'drone issue'. It's basically a drone mechanic issue and has nothing to do with the mission code per say. But I'd hazard a guess that it affects most level 4 missions, how severly depends upon how the entity groups are set up, i.e. how close their aggro ranges are.
Can I get my ship back now? Please.... -------------------------------------------

If this is a bug, I'd like to get my Raven back after losing it in the Guristas 2nd stage of lvl 4 Worlds Collide. I released my drones to try and combat the 'welcoming committee' and the whole room aggro'd me and took me out in short order.
I have heard of people getting ships back because of agro bugs before...
Good, helps me cause then.
(Well, hopefully) -------------------------------------------

Any chance we could get a GM to give an official answer on this? I have a petition out and other people say they have been reimbursed so is it the luck of the draw with GMs or is this to be expected?
What he said. Can't give some people there ships back and not give others theirs back (If its all the same bug/problem, ofc). -------------------------------------------

btw since when did GM's become more importaint than the people who make the game? its like police becoming more powerful than the people who make the rules and makes no sense
GMs are the people who should answer you about reimbursement claims. They aren't 'more powerful' than the devs, they're just fully capable of making most of these decisions themselves. When in doubt they come to us.
I think the main problem is it's hard, and in most cases probably impossible, to verify that someone was hit by a drone 'bug' or not. I believe in many of these cases the player simply managed to grab aggro in a non-buggy way, he simply made a mistake. Drones are also much harder to control than your ship for example, which is by design.
That's why I don't want to answer that question right now. I don't want to get people's hopes up about reimbursement.
The programmers are still looking into drone behavior and the testers are still trying to flesh out all the bugs and precise reproduction steps.
Also most of these drone bug reports are very vague and impossible to confirm if it's actually a bug or just a mistake on the players part.
If you want some help testing on SiSi i'll set aside some time tomorrow, take a raven and some drones and do what I did the other day and see if it happens again. But, surely there is no way a drone should of got agro like it did on that lvl 3 earlier. -------------------------------------------
